28 Goals for This Year

Hello everyone! Yesterday was my 28th birthday! I had a fantastic day taking the day off of everything and just relaxing and rejuvenating! It’s been amazing!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a list of goals that I want to accomplish this year. I decided, that because I’m turning 28, I would come up with 28 things. You’re thinking, “woah, that’s a lot of goals!” Don’t worry, I thought that too! Some of the things correlate together, but I want this year to be productive and I want to look back on my birthday next year and say “This has been a fantastic year!”

  1.  Monetize my blog – This is a scary concept, but it’s definitely something I want to accomplish this year!
  2. Enroll Sasha in obedience training (and graduate!)
  3. Go on vacation! – I don’t take enough time off work. I want to go somewhere and explore it (while not working!)
  4. Have 1,000 subscribers on YouTube – I’ve created a channel for my bullet journal adventures and it’s just starting out, but over the next year, I’d really like to build it! Check out my channel here!
  5. Get into Yoga – Whenever I do yoga, I feel really good, but I never make time for it. I’m also not really good at it and I just watch YouTube videos. But I’d like to be able to do it without the help of a tutorial! I’d also like to get to the point where I can do teacher training!
  6. Finish my book! A year is enough time to write a book right?
  7. Publish the book! – Whether it’s true traditional publishing, or ebook publishing through amazon. I want it out in the world!
  8. Pay off a credit card
  9. Pass my CP-FS for work
  10. Inspire others to bullet journal – This is something I’m already starting to do with my blog and my YouTube channel, but it’s something I want to be more consistent about!
  11. Go on a cruise! – We did this for our honeymoon, and it was so much fun! I definitely want to do it again!
  12. See a meteor shower
  13. Read 10 books – I’m not a big reader, but I want to do it more!
  14. Learn meditation – Yoga and meditation kind of go hand in hand so I feel like this will make a great addition to learning yoga
  15. Learn 12 new recipes – One a month isn’t too hard right?
  16. Spend a weekend in the mountains
  17. Explore a new place
  18. Find a Salt Lake City hidden gem
  19. Host a dinner party
  20. Organize my entire apartment – Even after a couple of months in our new place, we’re not completely unpacked and we’re definitely not 100% organized!
  21. Participate in NaNoWriMo – NaNoWriMo is a month-long novel-writing challenge where you attempt to write 50,000 words during the month of November. I’m not saying that I’ll be able to finish it, but it’s definitely something that I want to participate in!
  22. Create a 5 year plan
  23. See a Drive in movie
  24. Have a Christmas movie marathon
  25. Volunteer somewhere
  26. Create a routine for publishing content
  27. Workout consistently
  28. Learn something new!

I will try to update everyone as the year goes on how I’m doing on my goals. I think it’s safe to say it will be an adventurous year!

  1. Wonderful! How is it going?

I have tried following you. Hope it works. I’ve had lots of error messages, whenever I’ve tried.

Maybe you’ll want to check out my blog/my story, too? It’s a book, so if you do, a good place to start is the beginning (Prologue/Intro/Chapters 1, 2, 3). Give it a try. And I’d love some feedback, too.

    Have a great December!
